This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Use the office tied to the case. These local contacts have separate responsibilities:
- Sheriff’s Office warrant question: the agency says outstanding warrants are not discussed by phone. Its lobby is at 1520 Pageland Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720. The general number is 803-283-3388; the non-emergency line is 803-283-4136. Neither is described as a telephone status-check service.
- Magistrate case or bond question: Lancaster County Centralized Magistrate Court is at 761 Highway 9 Bypass East, Lancaster, SC 29720; call 803-283-3983. Bond Court is listed at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; questions about that schedule may be directed to 803-416-9483.
- Circuit or General Sessions record: contact the Lancaster County Clerk of Court at 104 North Main Street. Criminal and civil matters: 803-285-1581. Family Court: 803-285-6961.
- Municipal citation: contact the city court named on the ticket. Lancaster Municipal Court is at 405 East Arch Street, 803-285-7622; another town may have a different arrangement.
- Legal steps: a South Carolina attorney can advise about the person’s case. The issuing court controls its order and docket.
Office hours and procedures can change. Confirm the current schedule with the relevant office before traveling. A court case search, a records request, and a Sheriff’s Office lobby inquiry are distinct routes; a result from one does not establish the status of every record.
